Crown and Bridges

Crown is a “cap” fitted on the tooth for various reasons and the most common one being to make the tooth stronger and prevent fractures. A crown may be made of Gold or Ceramics like Emax or Zirconia.

A crown may also be advised to be done after RCT treatment.

Crown generally needs two visits, where the first appointment would be to prepare the tooth . this involves shaving off a thin layer off from tooth, to make space for the crown . then the tooth is scanned and sent to lab. A temporary crown will be fixed before you leave the clinic.  The second visit is usually after 10 days and involves removal of the temporary crown and cementing the permanent gold or ceramic crown.

When necessary, we can also do cementation of the permanent crown as easily as in 2 days.
